The Education ActThe Education Act is the legislative basis for the educational system in the province of Québec. This act was passed in 1988 and has been amended a number of times since. The Provincial Collective AgreementAt the provincial level, the collective agreement is negotiated between the Management Negotiating Committee for English-language School Boards (CPNCA) and the Quebec Provincial Association of Teachers (QPAT). CQTA members participate in health and insurance plans administered by the Quebec Provincial Association of Teachers. For more information about these plans, or to obtain claim forms, consult the QPAT website.
